before there was 7 Generations, there was 7th Generation. odd that two vegan straightedge bands would come from the same county, about 8 years apart.. but it happened.

the above video was shot at Koo’s Cafe in Santa Ana, in 1996. it was from a show that was actually an anarchist festival, and  7th Generation was on the show because of their vegan beliefs.

i dont remember too much about this band, except for that every member 100% disappeared from the hardcore scene within less than 2 years of this show. i hung out with Robin for a hot second in 1996.

the weirdest thing about this video is that there are people singing along. i saw this band a few times, and dont remember ANYONE liking them. also, the band had a staunchly hardline/ anti abortion song that cause a lot of drama for them.
